Deeper tones may require two or three sessions, typically spaced 8–10 weeks apart, and results cannot be guaranteed in one visit. Once treatment is complete, pigment may last 2–4 years, with individual variation. Surface peeling usually settles within 5–10 days, but colour changes can continue for 6–8 weeks or longer.
